Opening Alert: Cooper’s Tavern, Sloatsburg, NY
An Irish gastropub concept has opened in Sloatsburg with the arrival of Cooper’s Tavern.
The new establishment is situated at 40 Orange Turnpike, occupying the former Rhodes Tavern space — located near Harriman State Park, the space has long served as a rest stop for travelers through the area.
The restaurant is a collaborative effort between Hearth & Tap (Montvale) and The Craftsman (Fair Lawn), spanning 6,000 square feet, which will include seating for 300 people, divided into both indoor and outdoor areas.
A menu offers a range of dishes for dinner, with lunch and weekend brunch in the works.
Additionally, they’ll have a curated selection of craft beers, craft cocktails, and an Irish whiskey collection.
Guests can expect takeout, delivery and the ability to host private events.
Ownership has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant, bar, and nightlife industry across NYC and New Jersey.
It’s currently open seven days a week.
