Bergen Restaurants Among Top 99 in New Jersey
The team over at NJ.com has published their latest best of list, sharing New Jersey’s 99 greatest restaurants, ranked (Read Full Story).
Dubbed the “ultimate statewide dining guide” that is “celebrating our state’s spectacular food communities”.
Tabulated over the last year, from the “intrepid if not obsessive” team of food writers.
As with most Like most of these lists, the precise criteria used to determine the selections was not shared.
Of those selected among these best, eight are located in Bergen County.
None were in the top ten, but The River Palm Terrace in Edgewater came closest at number 12 as the “king of consistency” with “some of the best dry-aged steaks and sushi”.
Next was Varka in Ramsey at number 24, which “will cure any craving for a taste of the Mediterranean”.
Then newer Italian restaurant Verana in Norwood came in at number 33, which is “worthy a lengthy drive or saved for a special occasion”.
Wooga in Fort Lee aas number 35, and shared as “one of New Jersey’s premier Korean barbecue destinations”.
Rounding out the list was White Manna in Hackensack at #57, Bamboo Grill in Bergenfield at #58, Peck Peck in Teaneck at #84, and Hiram’s in Fort Lee at #91.
