Estrella Nostra has officially opened its doors in Garfield, blending Dominican heritage and Italian culinary flair under one roof.

This BYOB eatery offers a unique fusion menu, shaped by the owners’ roots in the Dominican Republic and a passion for comforting, homestyle cuisine.

Chef Ramon Bonilla leads the kitchen with 28 years of experience, having cooked in some of the top restaurants in the Dominican capital.

With 40 seats and approximately 2,500 square feet of space, the dining room offers “warm lights, cozy vibes and flavors that feel like home” for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

The restaurant is a dream realized for the family, who previously operated a Dominican deli in Union City and now bring their vision to life with this a la carte concept.

It’ currently open Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays).
