Crown & Whiskers Tea Room is Coming to Teaneck
A new tea room is preparing to open in Teaneck, promising a charming blend of refinement, whimsy, and heartfelt hospitality.
Crown & Whiskers Tea Room will be located at 306 Queen Anne Road, offering guests a serene escape where classic tea traditions meet playful décor and modern sensibilities.
Described as a “whimsical escape where classic elegance meets playful décor,” the space is designed to be light-filled and tranquil—perfect for a luxurious cup of organic tea accompanied by a curated selection of sweet and savory bites.
The concept is the vision of Shalaina Michelle Palma, a Teaneck native with a professional background in hospitality, events, and flight service. Inspired by her family’s entrepreneurial roots—including her grandfather’s businesses in Harlem—Palma describes the tea room as both a dream fulfilled and a legacy continued.
At Crown & Whiskers, hospitality extends beyond the teacup. A portion of proceeds will be donated monthly to nonprofit organizations, as part of the brand’s mission to “ripple outward in kindness with love and intention.”
In addition to daily service, the tea room will host private events, children’s tea parties (dubbed “Little Sippers”), and seasonal signature gatherings that require reservations. These events aim to offer guests a space for meaningful connections and memorable celebrations.
No official opening date has been announced yet.
