Yelp has shared the 2025 ranking of Top Places to Eat in North Jersey according to Yelp Elites (View List).

The list of fifty places “are serving up extraordinary food” based on the information in the article.

The methodology used was they “identified businesses in the restaurants category” using (amongst other things) the “total volume and ratings of reviews” from the Yelp Elite Squad between August 2024 and August 2025.

With no less than twenty one restaurants on the list from Bergen County, two trends did stand out: five were in the top 10 overall, while six of the total places were located in Fort Lee.

The top 10 included: Butterfish Sushi in Rutherford at #3 (Website), Pastrami Grill Bistro in Garfield at #4, Soba Noodle Azuma in Fort Lee at #8 (Website), MORU in Fort Lee at #9 (Website) & Anytime Kitchen in Fort Lee at #10 (Website).

Fort Lee spots also named were: Soup Dumpling Plus at #11 (Website), BCD Tofu House at #12 (Website) & The Gyro Project at #27 (Website).

Among the remaining Bergen County places were: White Manna in Hackensack (#18) (Website), Farm & Flour in Franklin Lakes (#21) (Website), Garden Shabu in Little Ferry (#23), Willow & Whisk in Wyckoff (#25) (Website), Jarana in East Rutherford (#26) (Website).

And finally: Sook Pastry in Ridgewood (#32) (Website), Taverna Veranda in Edgewater (33) (Website), ORA in Oradell (#35) (Website), Ahjae Gookbap in Palisades Park (#40) (Website), Wooga in Fort Lee (#42) (Website), The River Palm in Edgewater (#43) (Website), Sofia in Englewood (#46) (Website) and Amici’s in Maywood (#49) (Website).
