Mindy’s Munchies, the Bergen-based chocolate shop with locations in New Jersey, Florida, and Maine, has opened a new store at 637 Godwin Avenue in Midland Park.

The business was founded by Mindy Mosca, who began creating chocolate treats for school events and family gatherings.

According to the company, the popularity of her recipes eventually led to opening retail locations.

Mindy’s Munchies describes its stores as “part candy shop, part chocolate lab, part edible playground”, offering small-batch, handmade confections made from traditional ingredients.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
