The Milkshake Factory (Website), a century-old family-run brand blending premium chocolates and handcrafted shakes, is making its way to New Jersey for the very first time.

Locations are currently in the works for Florham Park, Jersey City, and Somerville, marking the beginning of the brand’s expansion into the Garden State.

There’s no word yet on plans for Bergen County.

According to its website, The Milkshake Factory is rooted in a chocolate-making legacy dating back to 1914, when the founders opened a chocolate shop and soda fountain in Pittsburgh.

The brand has since evolved through four generations, remaining committed to small-batch chocolates and handspun shakes made daily in-store.

Their menu includes signature shakes, sundaes, and an array of gourmet chocolates — with the brand describing itself as “Pittsburgh’s premier milkshake and chocolate destination.”
