Llama Sam is Coming Soon to Hackensack
Llama Sam, a new restaurant combining “the authenticity of traditional Peruvian flavors with contemporary design and innovative cooking techniques,” is coming soon to Hackensack.
The concept is described as modern Peruvian cuisine, with the team aiming to create “gastronomic experiences” that fuse native ingredients and culinary influences like Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine.
The result is expected to be a menu of “unique and surprising flavors,” though the final offerings are still in development.
Ownership consists of three partners, including a Peruvian chef with over ten years of experience. His background includes work at Belmond Hotel Monasterio and culinary travels across multiple countries, focused on blending tradition with innovation.
The 900-square-foot space will seat approximately 25 guests. Llama Sam is currently targeting a November opening, though no specific date has been confirmed.
