Chicken Salad Chick is Coming to New Jersey

Chicken Salad Chick (Website), the “nation’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept,” has announced plans to expand into New Jersey.

This planned expansion follows a successful first half of 2025, with “a string of grand openings across the country” helping to “solidify its position as a leader in the fast-casual segment.”

With more than 307 locations across 22 states, the brand has seen steady growth since its Alabama founding in 2008.

Known for serving “full-flavored, Southern-style chicken salad made from scratch and served from the heart,” the restaurant has built a strong following thanks to its wide-ranging menu and community-focused approach.

Menu offerings include more than a dozen original chicken salad flavors, along with fresh side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and desserts — a mix that aims to appeal to a broad range of tastes and dietary preferences.

While no specific New Jersey locations have been announced yet, the brand is eyeing Central and South Jersey for its initial Garden State rollout.
