Tamarind Modern Indian Cuisine has officially opened its doors at 20 S Broadway in Nyack, offering a fresh take on Indian dining that merges traditional flavors with modern technique and presentation.

The restaurant aims to deliver “authentic tastes of India while enjoying a contemporary dining atmosphere,” with a menu that includes both classic and inventive dishes such as Coconut Shrimp Curry, Braised Lamb Shank, and Mumbai Tikki Chaat.

Guests will also find a full bar with a curated selection of spirits, wines, and beers, alongside handcrafted cocktails like the Hidden Gem and Passion Pearl.

Led by a chef from Uttarakhand with more than 20 years of international culinary experience.

Tamarind features a 3,000-square-foot space with seating for approximately 120 guests.

The restaurant is open six days a week and closed on Mondays.
