Louie’s Next Door in Nyack has been recognized by Wine Enthusiast Magazine as one of the Top 50 New Restaurants in America for 2025, earning a spot on the publication’s annual list highlighting the most exciting wine-focused dining experiences across the country (Read Full Story).

The list celebrates restaurants that pair standout culinary programs with thoughtful, wine-driven concepts.

In describing Louie’s, they note that while it may present as a wine bar, Executive Chef Tony Scotto brings a fine-dining pedigree to the menu, with dishes such as shredded squid with rosemary and lemon, and mango wrapped in Benton’s Country Ham already gaining a strong local following.

The wine list emphasizes minimal-intervention producers and community-focused sourcing, including bottles from Spain’s Bodegas Gratias and California’s La Cuadrilla, a wine that supports vineyard workers directly— low-ABV cocktails made with fortified wines also round out the beverage menu.

Louie’s opened earlier this year next door to their sister restaurant DNPB Pasta & Provisions.
