La Valse des Fleurs Expected This Month in Englewood
A new café and flower shop hybrid is set to open later this month in downtown Englewood.
La Valse des Fleurs, located at 42 West Hudson Avenue, will combine a European-inspired café with a full-service floral boutique in a repurposed former bank space.
According to the owner, La Valse des Fleurs—which means “Waltz of Flowers”—is “inspired by many of the things I love in life” including “French culture, ballet, flowers, gourmet food, décor, antiques, art” and others.
The café will serve specialty coffee and tea, fresh juices, and a variety of pastries and desserts, alongside light fare such as croques, savory croissants, crêpes, quiches, and salads.
One of the key elements of the concept is the space itself, described by the owner as “beautiful and elegant,” and available for small private events including baby showers and birthday gatherings.
In total, the space will accommodate over 50 guests and aims to be, in the owner’s words, “not just a place to grab coffee, but an experience.”
