Bacarosa is now open at 238 Franklin Ave in Nutley, bringing a new Italian-inspired dining experience to the former Hudson Rose location.

Launched by GAC Hospitality, Bacarosa blends “laid-back elegance with a generous dash of playfulness,” offering a menu (View Dinner Menu) that includes wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, antipasti, and large-format shareable plates.

The beverage program highlights an extensive Italian wine list and seasonal cocktails, designed to complement the menu’s mix of familiar flavors and modern touches.

Led by Chef Andrew Riccatelli, the kitchen draws inspiration from both traditional and contemporary Italian cooking, with a focus on fresh ingredients and vibrant presentation.

Bacarosa is currently open seven days a week for dinner, with plans to expand to lunch and weekend brunch service in the near future.
