Chorn Thong Thai Restaurant is now open at 2 E Ridgewood Avenue, bringing a new take on Thai cuisine to the heart of Ridgewood.

Focused on “home-made southern Thai food,” the restaurant offers both classic dishes like pad thai and fried rice, as well as regional specialties rarely seen in other Bergen County Thai spots according to management.

Owner-operated and BYOB, Chorn Thong was launched by a hospitality veteran with over a decade of experience in Thai restaurants—from kitchen to daily operations—with the goal of offering “something different than your typical Thai restaurant.”

With seating for about 32 guests indoors and another 10–12 outside, the cozy 1,000+ square foot space features a small but experienced culinary team with 20 years of combined experience in the NYC restaurant scene.

It’s currently open six days a week (closed Mondays).
