It’s best of month at New Jersey Monthly magazine with their annual lists of the top eateries in the state from critics (Read Story) and readers (Read Story).

They’ve also shared something else—”Classic New Jersey Restaurants We Love” (View Story), that are “eateries long beloved” by their editors.

It’s described as “a special designation for well established restaurants” that have appeared in their Top 40 Best Restaurants list “frequently over the years”.

They are “perennial favorites” that “have proven records of exemplary service, tasteful decor and outstanding cuisine”.

As of this posting, one of those restaurants is in Bergen County, The River Palm Terrace in Edgewater.
