Brewery Supporting Jersey Food Bank with New Beer Release
Lawson’s Finest Liquids (Website) just released Cosmic Shift IPA, a juicy, hop-forward new brew, sharing a portion of the proceeds from every can sold in New Jersey to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (Website).
“Cosmic Shift is something truly special,” said Adeline Druart, CEO of Lawson’s Finest Liquids. “It captures everything we love about hops–bold, juicy, expressive flavor and aroma–and channels it into something even bigger. Through our Social Impact Program, every sip of Cosmic Shift helps support vibrant communities and meaningful causes throughout the Northeast. That’s what makes this beer so out-of-this-world.”
Cosmic Shift IPA will benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, the “largest anti-hunger, anti-poverty organization in New Jersey”, where nearly 1.1 million people, including over 270,000 kids, are food insecure.
CFBNJ provides enough food for more than 90 million meals annually through a network of more than 800 food pantries, soup kitchens, and other local food assistance organizations across 15 counties.
The FoodBank aims to address the root causes of hunger through food benefits and social services, job training and certification, hygiene product distribution, nutrition education, and food policies that nurture all New Jerseyans. This year, CFBNJ celebrates its 50th anniversary – five decades of providing food, help, and hope to neighbors in need.
“Food insecurity is on the rise in New Jersey. The generosity of caring supporters like Lawson’s Finest Liquids is more important than ever before,” said Elizabeth McCarthy, President & CEO of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. “Every $1 donated helps us provide three nutritious meals.”
Donations made by Lawson’s Finest Liquids to CFBNJ will be matched by Remarkable Liquids, the local beer distributor of Lawson’s Finest brews.
