Fitzie’s Italian Ice, a new seasonal dessert shop, is now open in the heart of Haworth.

Family-owned and named after the owners’ son, Fitzie, the shop specializes in small-batch Italian ice (granita) made fresh daily using just three ingredients: fresh fruit, sugar, and water.

The current flavor lineup includes lemon, orange, strawberry, raspberry, mango, and pineapple, with additional options like peach, coconut, chocolate, and other seasonal flavors planned.

Looking ahead, they plan to launch a mobile Italian ice cart for private events starting in Spring 2026.

It’s currently open Wednesday to Saturday, with Sunday hours added in August.
