HOCCO is preparing to open a new location in Paramus, bringing its blend of traditional flavors and modern Indian dining to Bergen County.

The restaurant will be located at 305 Route 17 South in the Paramus Crossroads shopping center.

Founded by the Chona family, HOCCO is part of a legacy that dates back to 1944, originating with the popular Havmor brand in Ahmedabad and known for both its ice cream and signature Chana Puri.

The concept merges nostalgia with a contemporary experience, offering a menu that reflects both time-honored recipes and updated culinary trends.

The Paramus opening will be the brand’s third U.S. location, joining existing restaurants in South Carolina and Virginia.

An official opening date has not yet been announced, though their website says “Summer 2025”.
