Habit Burger & Grill, the California-based restaurant company renowned for its bugers grilled over an open flame, is continuing its expansion into Bergen Cojnty.

The brand now has its sights set on opening a new storefront in Englewood.

The new location is coming to 29 Nathaniel Place, joining their existing North Jersey restaurants in River Edge, Teterboro, and Fair Lawn—where the first East Coast location debuted back in 2014.

Founded in 1969, the fast-casual chain brings a menu inspired by California flavors, including handcrafted burgers, creamy shakes, and sides like Tempura Green Beans.

Habit Burger has received national recognition in recent years, appearing in Newsweek’s rankings of America’s Favorite Restaurant Chains (Read Article) and listed among Thrillist’s Underrated Burger Chains that Need to be in Every State (Read Story).

An official opening date has not yet been announced.
