Caribbean Fusion Food Truck Drives into Closter
Jamaking Me Come, a new Caribbean fusion food truck, is now open in Closter.
The truck parks on Herbert Avenue approximately at the intersection of Primrose Lane.
Founded by Chef Ingrid, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef with over two decades of experience, the truck blends Jamaican flavors with global influences, drawing from her time cooking in France, China, Thailand, and New York City.
Chef Ingrid’s background also includes years as a culinary instructor and farmer, shaping a food philosophy focused on fresh ingredients, bold seasonings, and from-scratch cooking.
The menu features a rotating selection of Caribbean-inspired dishes, all served in eco-conscious packaging with a focus on quality and flavor.
It is currently open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
