Tatte Bakery & Cafe is continuing its expansion, with its first New Jersey location on the way in downtown Ridgewood.

The Boston-based brand will be opening at 222 East Ridgewood Avenue in the space formerly occupied by Jos. A. Bank.

Founded by pastry chef Tzurit Or, the bakery began as a farmers market stand in Boston and has since grown into a multi-location café chain with locations in Massachusetts and the Washington, DC area.

The concept is known for its all-day menu of baked goods, savory dishes, and coffee, inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors.

Tatte locations are designed with seasonal offerings and items for a variety of dietary preferences.

According to information shared directly with Boozy Burbs, the Ridgewood café is expected to open on May 5th.
