The Edgewater location of Baumgart’s Cafe will presumably be relocating to Fairview sometime in the future.

They updated their Instagram account with profile text including “We’re excited to announce our move to Fairview, NJ! Thank you for your amazing support over the years—we can’t wait to welcome you all again soon!”

The Edgewater restaurant was located at The Promenade, known for its menu that spanned American classics and Asian fusion dishes — from burgers and ice cream to Pad Thai and sushi.

With origins from the original Baumgart’s Cafe in Englewood — which itself closed after eighty years in 2022 — it grew to have locations in Ridgewood, Livingston, and the aforementioned Edgewater.

It’s been a while since that social media declaration and as of publication the current status of the Fairview move remains unclear.

In fact there’s no location or other details available — and Boozy Burbs received no response regarding the move to a recent inquiry.
