Mexico Mi Amor is a new restaurant now open in Dumont.

It’s replaced Da Mimmo, which closed it’s doors back in September.

The husband and wife team previously owned a Mexican restaurant in the Bronx for the past fifteen plus years — now they’ve brought the business closer to home.

With almost one hundred seats, they’re offering breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They hope to create a “beautiful and comfortable space” where “it’s fun to eat and hang out” — there’s even a “small toy/play area” for kids so parents can enjoy their meal.

As far as eats (View Menu), lunch and dinner will be classic Mexican food: tacos, nachos, tostadas and more — while breakfast will feature Mexican dishes like chilaquiles and Mexican pastries, plus some typical American selections.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
