Frank’s Franks and Things Coming Next Week to Bergenfield

Frank’s Franks and Things is a new food truck coming next week to Bergenfield.

The brainchild of chefs Franklyn “Friz” Romero Jr. and Exc. Chef Hacey “Haze” Segura, they wanted to “bring authenticity” to the area — both are Bergen County hospitality industry veterans.

With two “award-winning chefs”, their classic culinary training and over forty years of experience, the business hopes to “introduce” the community to “authentic Caribbean spices”.

It’s being hailed as a “Latin Fusion concept”, with items like a Dominican Smash Chimi Burger, Walking Tacos, Hot Dogs, Chicken & Waffles, Fried Oreos and more.

The business will be parked outside the Bergenfield V.F.W. seven days a week — with acknowledgement to the V.F.W. leadership and town officials for their support in making it happen.

There will be approximately thirty seating arrangements and plans are to open officially this coming Monday, March 24th.
