Rubana Cubana is expanding once again in North Jersey.

They have sights on Teaneck for their upcoming location.

It will be housed on Teaneck Road in the space that was formerly the East Japanese restaurant.

This is their second shop in Bergen, the first opened on Route 17 in Rochelle Park back in 2021 (Read Story) — there are an additional four locations spread across Hudson and Passaic counties.

They serve a menu of Cuban eats including tapas, salads, sandwiches, meats and seafood dishes along with a “lively bar scene” featuring cocktails, wine, beer and more.

Plans are also in motion for an outdoor patio as part of the renovation.

No specifics on a timeline for opening have been shared.
