Mercato Roman Pizza Kitchen, the dining destination in Tappan, is expanding to Bergen County.

With a location open in Tappan since early 2020, the business has it’s sights set for Westwood later this year.

It will be taking home in the space of the recently shuttered Caffe Anello – which ended it’s 11+ year run last month.

Mercato serves hand-made Roman style pizza that’s cold fermented up to 96 hours.

Ownership also operates Rockland eateries The 9W Market (Palisades) and The Filling Station/TFS Burger Works (Palisades, Haverstraw).

The Filling Station is also expected to open in Westwood later this year (Read Story).
