EAK Ramen is Coming Soon to Paramus
E.A.K. Ramen is expected to open it’s first New Jersey shop this year.
The chain is coming to Garden State Plaza in Paramus.
What now includes 400 stores around the globe — including multiple NYC locations — the business started in Japan back in 2008.
Featuring Iekei style ramen (Wikipedia), they use only natural chicken and pork bones along with an eighteen hour process to “prep, boil, cook, stir, and perfect the broth”.
Noodles are custom made with a “distinct formula” unavailable anywhere else — they are “thick, bold and straight”.
In fact the recipes are known only by the owner, a “close kept secret” to “keep flavor from changing”.
There’s no word yet on a specific opening date.
