Lupita’s Cocina is a recent opening in Oakland.
It began as a Thursday Special at Wilkes Deli (in Oakland) and expanded into a business where “people could visit and enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine”.
The menu (View Menu) features tacos, quesadillas and gorditas crafted using meats like carnitas, al pastor, chicken tinga, chorizo and more.
There’s also a number of entrees like bowls, burritos, enchiladas and fajitas plus various chicken and beef dishes.
It’s currently open six days a week (closed Mondays).
