J. Alexander’s, the “premier dining restaurant known for its exceptional steaks, fresh seafood and signature dishes”, is set to debut its first New Jersey restaurant this year.

The brand has a location is in the works locally on Route 3 in Clifton.

This storefront will operate seven days a week, featuring hand-cut steaks, signature dishes, hand-crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list.

Guests can enjoy a “polished yet inviting ambiance” and more — from casual meals to special celebrations.

Alexander’s to the New Jersey market, and Clifton offers the ideal setting for our debut in the state,” said SPB Hospitality CEO Josh Kern. “This location combines a bustling commercial area with a strong local community, making it easier to support our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. To prepare for this opening, J. Alexander’s is currently hiring for their team in Clifton.

According to a press release, management is aiming for a spring opening.
