Lelu Patisserie is Coming Soon to Fort Lee
LELU is a new patisserie coming soon to Fort Lee.
The business promises “Handcrafted Elegance in Every Bite” according to their website.
Owner Ana Kutelvas has been working in finance for the hotel industry over many years, while pursuing a baking hobby about nine years ago.
She began to take the hobby more seriously, going to school and training under “famous chefs” inlcuding her mentor chef Anthonio Bachour (Miami).
Now switching careers with the help of her husband, she is opening her own shop – “something completely different, like you have in Europe” that includes great coffee and pastries.
This includes a menu of croissants, macarons, financier, scones, tarts, small pastries and more.
Later on she is planning to introduce bread, sandwiches and gelato.
A majority of the construction and work has been completed in the space.
Kutelvas expects to open sometime after the Thanksgiving this year.
