Shah’s Halal, a rapidly expanding halal chain, has plans for another Bergen County storefront.

In addition to an upcoming shop in Cliffside Park and already operating location in Bergenfield, a third is expected soon in Hillsdale — in the space that was previously home to We Crave Pizza.

What began as a food cart in Queens, they use family recipes to produce food (View Menu) like platters over rice (lamb, falafel, chicken), gyros, cheesesteaks, and more with all food crafted from using 100% certified halal products by the Halal Food Council.

Fresh produce is used to prepare salads and basmati rice is cooked with authentic flavors and all there sauces are from their own recipes.

Once operating, expect it to be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

There’s currently no word yet on an opening date.
