Drift Coming Soon to Weehawken Riverfront

Renowned restaurateur Jeremy Casilli, known for his projects along Hudson River’s Gold Coast, is introducing Drift Restaurant & Bar in Weehawken’s Lincoln Harbor district.

Casilli, who’s experience and background includes Soho and Tribeca Grand Hotels, Pier 115, and Hudson & Co and more, brings his expertise to DRIFT.

The restaurant’s mid-century modern interior spans 17,000 square feet, blending indoor and outdoor spaces. A highlighted feature is the state-of-the-art rotating dining platform, offering NYC skyline views – the “innovative design” completes a full rotation every hour ensuring “every guest enjoys an unparalleled dining experience”.

Drift’s interior offers a 100-foot brass and green-tiled bar, Terrazzo flooring, cognac leather banquettes, and oversized olive trees. A lounge features stainless steel arches, semi-private dining for sixty, and a private dining area for twenty. The 4,000 square-foot terrace has a retractable pergola and patio bar overlooking Manhattan.

Chef Bryan Noury, with a Michelin-star background, leads the kitchen. His culinary experience led him to train with some of the most acclaimed chefs at renowned establishments like The Old Homestead, Restaurant Daniel, Café Boulud, Le Bernardin, Piccoline, and Eleven Madison Park.

A planned modern American menu includes shareable small plates, raw bar (including global specialty sushi), and large plates featuring signature dishes showcasing various meats and seafood.

Located near the Weehawken Ferry Terminal (the space was previously Houlihans), ownership aims to offer an alternative to the “potential stress” of Manhattan dining.

“We are excited to bring Drift to Weehawken,” says Casilli. “Our goal is to offer a welcoming dining experience with standout culinary offerings.”

More details including Drift’s opening date are expected soon.
