NJ.com has shared their picks for N.J.’s 55 best hole-in-the-wall restaurants, 2024 update (Read Full Story).

This list compiles places that are deemed a “Hole-in-the-wall” and “divey”.

All these places have “good” food and are often “cheap”.

While there are fifty fiveon this best of list, the places are not ranked.

Bergen County had five restaurants picked overall.

This included Steve’s Burgers in Garfield, Cosmo’s Salumeria in Hackensack, Pizzaland in North Arlington (Website), Peck Peck in Teaneck (Website) and Chefski Dymski in Wallington.

Like many of these articles, the specific system used to determine the ranking wasn’t shared with readers.
