New Chef Owner and Name at Cafe Matisse in Rutherford
Changes have been happening in Rutherford this year to an acclaimed restaurant institution.
Now known as Matisse 167 (formerly Cafe Matisse), Chef Greg Power is now at the helm after a 37 year run from Chef Peter Loria.
The eatery offers a seasonal prix-fixe chef’s menu (View Menu) and is BYOB.
According to their website, Power aims to keep the restaurant’s “legendary tasting menu” as “fresh, artistic, inventive, and delicious as ever”.
It’s currently open Wednesday thru Sunday for dinner.
