NJ.com has shared their picks for New Jersey’s 37 best Italian delis, ranked for 2024 (Read Full List).

This specific list was first publish back in 2023 and has been updated.

Bergen County had three places rank this year, two of which happen to be in Lyndhurst.

Coming in at number 16 was Cosmo’s Salumeria in Hackensack was praised for the meatballs, eggplant and porchetta sub.

Then was Appetizzio’s Italian Specialties and World Market in Lyndhurst (Website) at #21 — they got high marks for the chicken parm and mozzarella.

Finally Michael’s Salumeria, Lyndhurst (Website) made the mark at #37 and were highlighted for chicken cutlets and “delectably rare” roast beef.
