NJ.com has shared their list of All 16 of New Jersey’s surviving 24-hour diners, ranked (Read Full List).

Things have changed quite a bit in the Jersey diner scene as many that were open 24 hours cut back during COVID-19 — according to the story there “were dozens of 24-hour Jersey diners in decades past”.

Like many of these rankings, the specific system used for the rankings wasn’t shared with readers.

There are four 24 diners in Bergen County – remember, all 24 hour diners in the state made the ranking – though two of them made the top 5.

Chit Chat Diner in Hackensack (Website) was #2 – highlights included the burger, Greek wrap, waffle fries and more.

State Line Diner in Mahwah (Website) was #5 – highlights included the French toast.
