Mexcal Tequila Bar is a recent opening in downtown Englewood.

It’s the latest from Bent Hospitality — Vida Garden (Englewood), El Tango (Englewood), Hidden Garden (Englewood), Tango Steak (Moonachie) — a joint venture with Michele Bittan.

Chef Carlos Escobar and sous chef Jorge Ramirez are minding the kitchen.

There’s also live DJs on the weekend with plans to provide “one of the best happy hour in town”.

It’s currently open six days (closed Mondays) a week.
