Brother’s Smokehouse, the bbq restaurant and bar, has opened in West Nyack.

This is the third location for ownership — one is in Ramsey (open since August 2020), the other is in New Windsor, NY — located at Palisades Center in West Nyack.

The business aims on “staying true” to BBQ where “meat is the star”, the menu is Southern barbecue with specific influences from both North Carolina (the family hails from the outerbanks of North Carolina) and Texas.

Meat cooked in their smokers, featuring chicken, brisket, sausage, ribs, pulled pork, and chopped pork.

Additional eats include soul food-influenced sides and entrees — wings (prepared from never frozen chicken), mac and cheese, burgers, fried chicken, shrimp & grits, cheesesteaks, and fries are among some of the choices (View Menu).

There is also a full bar with craft beer, wine, bourbon selection and more.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
