It’s a “universal comfort dish” where “there’s a lot more that meets the eye” as this was shared “just in time for soup season”.

This “all-time list” of “top spots for soup” was compiled by identifying businesses in the “food and restaurants categories on Yelp” with a large concentration of reviews mentioning “tamale”.

Then those places were ranked using factors like “total volume and ratings of reviews” mentioning the dish.

For New Jersey, the selection was A Taste of Greece in River Edge and their Avgolemono — lemon chicken soup with rice.
