Tomorrow (12/1), Marcus Samuelsson, the acclaimed celebrity chef and restaurateur, will inaugurate his latest restaurant at American Dream in East Rutherford.

Marcus Live! Bar & Grille is a spacious establishment measuring over 7000 square feet. It will offer a diverse selection of Samuelsson’s highly “acclaimed dishes” on its menu.

The restaurant takes a unique approach by placing its kitchen at the center of the establishment, providing guests with an up-close view of the cooking process.

This concept was “inspired” by American Dream’s “approach to experiential environments” and design. Samuelsson’s is known for Red Rooster in NYC and other global dining establishments.

His leadership at Marcus Live! brings a menu that reflects his cooking style. The dishes offered include Miso Halibut, Old Bay Crab Cakes, and Jerk Pork Belly Wraps.

Additionally, there are larger dish choices for sharing, such as The Garden State Jubilee which includes grilled shrimp, bbq brisket, grilled ribeye, and lobster tail.

Aside from the choices for meals, the bar will offer a selection of wines, locally brewed craft beers, and mixed drinks.

The store can be found on Level 3, Court A, inside the mall.
