SQ Pizza has opened a second location in Montvale.

Their Mahwah storefront began operations back in late 2020.

The business is the brainchild of chef and serial business owner George Georgiades, who’s the owner of fast casual Greek concept Eons (Paramus, Montvale).

He is also well-known as the onetime executive chef and partner of fine dining restaurant Varka in Ramsey.

They serve “authentic, Roman-style pizza by the slice” (View Menu) that’s crafted from made with high-hydration, long-rising dough.

Among it’s ingredients are non-GMO flour imported from Italy.

The result is a “light, airy, easily digestible” crust that pairs with various toppings or used for their sandwiches.

In addition, they also offer pizza sandwiches, sandwiches, salads and desserts including made from scratch gelato.

The shop is currently open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
