Hummus Republic opened one of its latest locations in Paramus last month.

The fast casual brand features a selection of Mediterranean food.

There are already a number of locations of Hummus Republic in New Jersey, thiugh this is the first in Bergen County.

The menu (View Menu) features custom meals featuring wraps, pitas or bowls.

Customers choose a base (i.e couscous, beans, greens), hummus/spread, protein (i.e. steak, chicken, falafel, mushrooms), “unlimited” toppings, and dressings.

According to their website, they are committed to sustainability with compostable cups, bowls, cutlery, and straws — plus they have a variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free menu items.

It’s currently open six days a week (closed Sundays).
