Bergen County Eateries Make Greatest Jewish Deli List

The folks over at NJ.com have shared their list of New Jersey’s 15 greatest Jewish delis, ranked (Read Article).

As delis are beloved in the state, Italian delis typically get more attention then their Jewish counterparts according to the story. These spots serve dishes like pastrami sandwiches, matzo ball soup and latkes.

While this list was compiled over the last few weeks, the exact way the ranking was determined was not specifically shared.

Of the fifteen on the list, four were located in Bergen County.

At #5 was Foster Village Kosher Delicatessen in Bergenfield (Website), which got highlighted for it’s whitefish salad and baked potato knish.

Kosher Nosh in Glen Rock (Website) git high marks for the potato pierogis and chopped liver.

Tenafly Kosher Deli was #11 with pastrami and corned beef as “calling cards”.

And finally rounding out the list oat #15 was Noah’s Ark in Teaneck (Website).
