Bon, offering Korean and Japanese fare, has opened in Westwood

They have done a complete gut of the space that formerly housed It’s Greek to Me and George’s Grill.

There’s “traditional” Korean items, that are “distinctly” Korean with a focus on jungsik.

Sushi is the focus of a sushi bar that will be reservation-based offering omakase.

There’s also an a la carte and menu items that are “familiar” Japanese sushi spots.

It’s also been stressed that this will not be a fusion restaurant and plans are also in the works for an “Asian-inspired brunch”.

It’s currently open six days a week (closed Sundays).
