Sandwichitos, a new sandwich shop, is now open in North Bergen.

Markin Delacruz, a “passionate foodie”,  has been consistently cooking and aging steaks for the last four years.

He came to America at 3 years old from the Dominican Republic and grew up in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn — he’s spent his life being around other cultures more than his own. That passion and growing up around Italian food made it his favorite of all the cuisines.

While friends have always complimented Delacruz on his eats, he began compiling his own opinions about the restaurants he frequented and how to improve them — those opinions and “being obsessed with aesthetics” is what gave him the confidence to open his own shop.

The concept is Spanish cuisine meets Italian meets American with a menu (View Menu) that includes sandwiches tater tots, milkshakes, fruit shakes, desserts and more.

With a number of seats for dine-in guests, it’s currently open seven days a week.
