Forte is a new restaurant and bar that’s opened recently in Hackensack.

It’s replaced Picco Tavern on Prospect Avenue.

They are featuring a full-service restaurant and bar as well as a “takeout/pizzeria section” according to the brand.

Mentioned on their website, they offer “award winning food and friendly service” — they are “committed to fresh, high-quality ingredients” offering various Italian eats.

They currently have two other Forte locations, one in Caldwell and one in Randolph.

The menu (View Menus) includes apps, salads, soups, sides, pizza, sandwiches, pasta, entrees and more.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
