Fat Choy, the vegan Chinese restaurant, opens tomorrow August 7th in Englewood.

The business is under the leadership of Jon Krieger (CEO of Cure Companies) and Chef Justin Lee, who ran the original Fat Choy in the Lower East Side.

Eater itself said that “ambitious” restaurant “ushered in a new era of Chinese food” (Read Story).

The menu  (View Menu) includes items like Mushroom Sloppy (Joes) and and General Lee’s Cauliflower.

It’s opening at 52 East Palisades Avenue, which was reported here first to be home for a Kosher food hall (Read Story), though that apparently has changed.

An August opening is currently planned for the sit down restaurant.
