Tito’s Burritos and Wings (Website), the mini chain of Mexican eats, has chosen to close operations of it’s location in Tenafly.

The location opened last summer at 35 Washington Street.

In an email sent to customers yesterday, the “painful decision” was made to close effective this Sunday, July 30th.

Citing the store being “not profitable” and “negative impact” keeping the business open, all employees in Tenafly were “offered an opportunity for continued employment within the Tito’s Burritos system”.

In addition, the locations in Summit, Ridgewood and South Orange all remain open.

The brand was named to QSR Magazine’s 40/40 List back in 2021 as one of America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casuals (Read Story).
