Empanada Mania, the popular empanada restaurant in Bergenfield, is back with a storefront.

During the pandemic, staffing issues and demand for their food truck led owner Galo Grijalva to make a tough decision — scale back by pausing retail operations indefinitely.

He’s happy to share that the front is back — currently in soft opening mode — still with some of the “best empanadas around.

The space has undergone a major renovation and Grijalva has assembled a new team.

Their menu (View Menu) of various empanada options are intact, along with sides, desserts drinks and more.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
