Bonita by the River is an upcoming restaurant and bar coming tomorrow to Edgewater.

The space at Spanish European restaurant has been redesigned — it was most recently Mariners Bistro — including an outdoor bar on the deck.

The menu (View Menu) includes tapas, raw bar, steaks and more with dinner and lunch being served.

Expect daquiris on the deck along with a champagne and oyster bar for tastings —the bar has full drink offerings as well.

The restaurant is from the same team behind Cork & Crust (Harrington Park), Fig & Tomato (Hillsdale)  and Augie’s (Harrington Park).

A grand opening is expected tomorrow on Wednesday, June 21st.
